Subtle-War

I have been creating art since I was a child. My biggest source of inspiration is my father. He is an artist, a painter and just overall awesome at anything that moves (aka Cars that are supper old).

In a way my love for fantasy and for steampunk/urban and distopian things all stem from him. He taught me to draw. He taught me what a good story could inspire and I have never stopped loving fantasy in it's many varied forms. My newest of these forms is 3D digital art. It's very different rom the traditional media, but just as fun and personally I think there is plenty of space for both in my life.

I tried the whole art class thing when I was younger and got kicked out. Funny how lame instructions give projects that are open ended like (project: Draw a forest in charcoal) that never comes with specifics such as (it has to exist in the real world). So I drew Lothlorian because an elven forest is so much cooler then reality and that earned me banishment from the class. Go figure.

It's pretty much at that point that I realized, I do not do reality! Period. I know the difference between what is real and what is fantasy. I just choose to ignore the first and live very happily in the second.

I aspire to become a writer (a dream that I will one day accomplish). Ever since I can remember I have been writing, but never about reality. Reality is overrated! So is gravity some days. (oh yah I love to fly. If I had wings or could fly on my own I would die a very happy women!)

I love to meet new people, I am very shy and do not poke people I don't know. Feel free to poke me, start a conversation, offer advice and critiques (be constructive, I love constructive criticism, but I really dislike negative criticism that is just bashing a piece and offers no advice on how to improve. That's just annoying! It is a supper huge pet peeve of mine!!!)
